Barbara Chapman
Barbara is a Nationally Certified and California Licensed Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine Practitioner. Barbara received her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland. After graduating, she traveled to Vietnam to work in two different Acupuncture hospitals where she was privileged to treat hundreds of patients in a community setting. It was her experience in Asia that led her to open Sebastopol Community Acupuncture in May of 2007. In addition to passionately advocating for affordable healthcare for all, Barbara enjoys gardening, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, birding, and reading.
Jan Orcutt
Jan Orcutt has been a licensed acupuncturist in California since 1984. Jan has a background in the Western medical field as a radiographer, having worked both in a hospital setting and for an orthopedic doctor. Jan has studied and taught meditation and facilitated healing circles. She incorporates acupressure, visualization and Qi Gong into her practice and brings to the clinic many years of experience and a warm, calm presence. Jan has always envisioned working in an acupuncture clinic that serves the surrounding community and enjoys being part of the SCA Clinic.
Jessica L. Piazza
Jessica L. Piazza is a nationally certified acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), holding a current license in the state of CA. Jessica obtained a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2008, were she received didactic and clinical training in East-Asian medicine from leading practitioners in the profession. Through her practice of meditation, Jessica cultivates her energy and awareness, serving herself to better serve others. Her diagnostic skills combined with compassionate listening allows her to address each clients presenting symptoms, while also striving to support the root cause of imbalance whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Jessica was raised in Sonoma County and is grateful to have returned back to Sebastopol to be a part of and serve this thriving West-County community.
