What to Expect
Before your visit
You will feel better and the treatment is more effective if you eat a light meal within four hours of your scheduled appointment. Please wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing that can roll up easily above your elbows and knees.
On your first Visit
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. To expedite your treatment, you can download and complete the questionnaire and consent forms prior to your visit and bring them with you. Download forms below.

Your practitioner will join you for a private consultation to go over the papers with you and ask you some questions concerning your complaints and health. We will examine your tongue and analyze your pulse which are Chinese medicine diagnostic tools. Afterwards, we will escort you into the community space where you chose a chair and get comfortable. We treat in LazyBoy recliners which we find to be more comfortable than exam tables. Once the needles are inserted, you just relax and let the acupuncture do its work. A typical treatment lasts about 20 minutes to an hour.
